CCTV Footage Reveals Kolkata Rape-Murder Accused Sanjay Roy – Will Lie-Detector Tests Uncover the Real Story?
Sanjay Roy, the prime suspect in the rape and murder case of a 31-year-old trainee doctor in Kolkata, has been caught on CCTV screen. In the recently released footage, Roy is seen entering the premises of RG Kar Hospital, where the heinous crime took place. According to an NDTV report, the CCTV timestamp showed Roy entering the hospital at 1:03 am on August 9, the same day the doctor’s lifeless body was discovered.
In the footage, a noticeable detail is a Bluetooth earphone around Roy’s neck. This detail is especially important because it matches the evidence collected from the crime scene. During their initial investigation, the Kolkata Police recovered a Bluetooth earphone from the spot where the doctor was found. This discovery likely links Roy directly to the crime, strengthening the case against him.
The release of this CCTV evidence marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation. As police continue to piece together the events leading up to the tragic incident, this footage not only corroborates other pieces of evidence, but also provides a clear timeline of Roy’s movements on the night of the crime. The case has attracted considerable attention, with the public and authorities demanding justice for the young doctor.
