Palwinder body returned Amritsar after Dubai death

Amritsar, Punjab – The body of a 22-year-old man, Palwinder, who tragically died of a heart attack in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), was repatriated to Punjab on Friday. His body arrived at the Sri Guru Ram Dass International Airport in Amritsar, leaving his family devastated.

Palwinder, who had traveled to Dubai in search of a better life and financial opportunities for his family, tragically passed away on August 24. His sudden death has left his family heartbroken, as they had high hopes for his success abroad.

SPS Oberoi, the managing trustee of the Dubai-based Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, played a key role in bringing Palwinder’s body back to India. Oberoi explained that the Indian Consulate General in Dubai informed the trust about Palwinder’s death, following which his team made all necessary arrangements to transport the body back to Punjab.

This tragic incident highlights the emotional and financial challenges faced by families when loved ones working abroad experience sudden and unforeseen events.
